FAQ's

1) Can anyone become a RCGA Golf Card member?
In order to become a RCGA Golf Card member you must be 19 years of age or older and provide an active email address so that we can send you your earned reward vouchers.

2) Do I need to sign up for a separate RCGA Golf Card at each course?
No, you only need one (1) RCGA Golf Card. Regardless of where you sign-up or received your card from, that same card is good at each and every participating course.

3) How do I "activate" my RCGA Golf Card?
You activate your card online. Click on the Activate New Member card button on our Home page and follow the easy instructions from there.

4) Why do I have to "activate" my RCGA Golf Card?
The Card Activation process is for your own security. It ensures that only you can receive the free vouchers you have earned.

5) What courses can I use my RCGA Golf Card at to earn rewards?
You’ll find a complete list of participating courses under the participating courses tab on our homepage.

6) Do all courses award Eagles and Birdies at the same rate?
Yes. Courses all issue 1 Eagle for every regular green fee rate or a ½ Eagle for 9 holes and off-peak green fee rates.

Courses all issue 2 Birdies for every additional $5.00 spent in their pro shop (over and above green fees). Some courses may also opt to issue Birdies for food & beverage spending.

Occasionally, courses may choose to offer more Eagles or Birdies as a special bonus or promotional offer.

7) Does it take the same number of Eagles to earn a free round of golf at all courses?
Yes, it’s the same for all courses. Earn 5 Eagles at any participating course and you get a free round at that course*.

8) Does the same number of Birdies earn the same value of free pro shop or food and beverage voucher at all courses?
Yes and the minimum free voucher value is $25.00 for 200 Birdies.

9) Can Eagles and Birdies earned at one course be converted to free rewards at another course?
No. All Eagles and Birdies are only redeemable at the courses where earned unless specified otherwise for certain courses.

10) How do Birdies work?
Birdies are earned from courses, corporate partners and RCGA Golf Card promotions.

Birdies earned at courses can be converted by you to Eagles or Pro Shop Vouchers at the course where earned.

Birdies received from corporate partners and RCGA Golf Card promotions can be converted to Eagles, Pro Shop or Food and Beverage Vouchers (if applicable) for any participating course.

12) How do I convert my Eagles and Birdies into free rewards at courses?
Whenever you earn 5 Eagles at any course, your free round voucher is automatically uploaded into your account.

To redeem Birdies for free pro shop or food & beverage vouchers or convert Birdies to Eagles at any course, login to your account and follow the simple directions.

13) Do Eagles or Birdies ever expire?
No they do not. They carry over from one season to the next. They’re yours, you earned them and they remain yours as long as you remain a paid-up RCGA Golf Card member**.

14) Can Eagles or Birdies be combined with or transferred to another member’s account?
No, they cannot.

15) How do I access my free round, ½ price green fee and other award vouchers when earned; and are there any restrictions on their use?
Simply sign-in to your RCGA Golf Card account. Click on Available Vouchers and choose the voucher you want to use. Print that voucher off, bring it with you to the course and present it for use according to its terms and conditions.

Courses do set certain restrictions as to when you can use your award vouchers to play (varies by course). ½ price green fee vouchers are intended to encourage and reward early season and late season play, so their use is restricted to dates in either Spring or Fall.

Choose Participating Courses to view valid dates and other restrictions for each individual course.
